editor Let's Go: Germany 1995

After traveling to Germany the previous year to research the travel guide, I was hired as Editor for Let's Go: Germany 1995, which involved hiring five researcher-writers to travel to Germany and then editing the text they sent back. That year the book expanded by 120 pages because of new travel opportunities in the wake of East Germany opening up. So total was 520 pages. It was an epic amount of work. Looking back I can barely believe we pulled it off. It was me, an associate editor, and an assistant editor our book shared with the Russia book.

Anyway, everyone involved has a soft spot in my heart forever.
