2010 through maybe 2013. I gave a presentation about my thesis research to, I guess, 5 different classes of students taking Qualitative Research Methods or, once, just regular Research Methods. Since my thesis research was about the stigma experiences and disclosure-support needs of kinky people, I really appreciated the opportunity to talk about something that doesn't get a lot of air time in academia. It was a great way to test ideas and hear the occasional feedback which revealed entrenched stigma, and begin to dialogue out of it compassionately.
