2001. Madagascar Institute was organizing crazy parties around Brooklyn in those days. I was invited to participate as a “blind showgirl” in their Lost Vegas party. This was an amazing party with all sorts of interactive games, wedding chapels, vibrating beds, lounge singers, roulette where you would slide down a slide and end up on the spinning roulette wheel, and boys for rent for 50¢ for 15 minutes (I think). I thought it was one of the coolest parties I ever saw.
