2013. I was going to Firefly with a bunch of people who knew NVC and so I prepared a project called Empathy Robot. The plan was to put on the (rented) robot costume, and walk around, and give robotic NVC-style empathy (the joke being that, if not done well, NVC can sound somewhat robotic). Um, but as Firefly sometimes is, between rain and chaos and setting up camp, I think Empathy Robot only walked around for like 10 minutes. I still really like the idea, though, maybe I'll give it another try.
